Your alias is how the community knows you. This step is private — never shown on the platform.
Your legal name and date of birth are stored in a restricted system completely separate from your public profile. They are never displayed on the platform and are never accessible to other Inklings.
FCX Ink accesses this information only in the following circumstances:
- Workshop subscriptions and payments made through the platform
- Proving Ground participation, including revenue sharing and IP agreements
- Merchandising, licensing, and rights arrangements connected to your creative work
- Dispute resolution, arbitration, and platform investigations
- Legal proceedings in which your identity as a rights holder is relevant
Providing inaccurate legal identity information — including a name that does not match your government-issued identification or a false date of birth — may result in forfeiture of any financial gains, revenue share, prizes, or contractual rights arising from your participation in Workshop, Proving Ground, or any other commercial arrangement on FCX Inkpad, and may void any IP agreements entered into under your account. FCX Ink reserves the right to verify your identity before processing any financial arrangement or issuing any payment.
Your rightsIf you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, your data is processed under the UK/EU GDPR on the basis of contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b)) for participation in financial and legal platform activities. You have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request erasure of your personal data, subject to applicable legal retention obligations. Contact privacy@fcxink.com to exercise your rights or ask questions about how FCX Ink handles your data.
Age and participationFCX Inkpad is open to users aged 13 and over. If you are between 13 and 17, you may participate in all community features. Participation in Workshop, Proving Ground, and any financial arrangements requires written parental or guardian consent before you may proceed. If you are under 13, you cannot register for FCX Inkpad.
