The Unwritten
Rules

Don't be a jerk. Period.

II

Critique the work. Not the person.

Feedback is welcome here — honest, direct, even blunt. What it can't be is personal. What someone made and who they are are different things. Keep them that way.

III

Credit travels with the work. Always.

If you reference it, remix it, or build on it — say so. Attribution isn't a formality. It's respect with teeth.

IV

Wink what you actually mean.

A Wink is a signal. It tells the community this work is worth attention. Don't Wink to be polite. Don't Wink to game a vote. Wink because you mean it.

V

Your win doesn't require someone else's loss.

Competition here is about raising the work, not lowering someone else's. Root for your own stuff. Let it stand on what it is.

VI

Disagreement is fine. Cruelty isn't.

You can dislike something. You can say so. The line is between an opinion and an attack. FCX Ink is a place for honest voices — but not for ones that make people feel unsafe bringing their work here.

VII

This is someone's real thing. Treat it that way.

Behind every BoxDrop, every Folio, every Spotlight submission is a person who sat down and made something. That took something. Whatever you think of the result, that part deserves acknowledgment.
